We Work with Public Adjusters

WHAT IS A PUBLIC ADJUSTER?

A Public Adjuster (PA), is a State licensed insurance adjuster who represents the Policy Holder against their Insurance Company.  She or he works for the Homeowner, Business Owner, or Condo Association, not the Insurance Company. They can offer experience and knowledge in estimating and negotiating your claim.

If you have hired a Public Adjuster, we will work with your PA. Our Insurance Property Damage Attorneys aim to build a Team with your PA that provides you with a well rounded representation.

We are excited to collaborate with a public adjuster in representing our client.  MMD Attorneys value the essential role that public adjusters play in these cases, drawing on the partners' experience as former public adjusters. We respect the relationship the public adjuster has with her or his client. We aim to cultivate a positive and long lasting relationship with the PA, creating a team that delivers exceptional results together. If you are a PA who would like to meet with us, give us a call.

DENIED CLAIMS

Our Insurance Property Attorneys understand the frustration that comes when an insurance company denies your claim. Our experienced attorneys thoroughly review your policy and collaborate with experts to identify every potential area of coverage. With our extensive knowledge of  the claims process, we are dedicated to effectively challenge wrongful denials and securing favorable outcomes for our clients. You don’t have to face this battle alone; we are here to support you every step of the way.

UNDERPAID CLAIMS

You have an under payment dispute when your insurance company pays less than what your claim is worth or refuses to pay for the entire scope necessary to place you in the same position you were in before the loss occurred. This process can be frustrating, especially when the insurance company's payment falls short of covering your damages. Our dedicated lawyers will thoroughly review your documents to assess your loss accurately. With extensive experience in negotiating claims and litigating on behalf of our clients, we are committed to ensuring you receive a fair amount for your loss. Let us help you with this challenging process and advocate for your rights.

BAD FAITH CLAIMS

Florida has what is referred to as a bad faith statute.  It is possible that a Court finds that an insurance company has violated its duty to act in good faith.  This will entitle the policyholder to recover additional monies over and above the cost of repairs.  MMD's Insurance Property Damage Attorneys are knowledgeable in evaluating and determining if a bad faith action exists.  The bad faith action usually occurs during the claim process and for this reason it is imperative to know how to navigate this process.
