What is Real Estate Title Work

MMD's attorneys are dedicated to providing reliable title work to our clients. Real Estate Title work involves MMD's attorney conducting a comprehensive examination of the property's title history to identify any possible defects or encumbrances of claims against your title. We search for liens, easements or boundary disputes to ensure that there is a clear and insurable title. The title search results into an abstract title which provides a chronological history of all recorded documents related to the property. This is presented to the Title company and we obtain a title insurance policy protecting both the buyer and seller.
